About Me

A North Georgia native, I grew up hiking the Appalachian trail, working in my father’s cabinet shop, and running my church’s AV department. During my high school years, I developed a deep passion for all things tech, and found myself falling in love with the world of Audio Video and Live Entertainment.

Immediately after graduation high school, I moved to Costa Rica for a year to both study Spanish and explore an area of the world that had quickly become a second love of mine due to earlier mission’s trips. During my time there, I spent my free time volunteering in the local orphanage, senior home and schools where began to develop a deeper understanding and compassion for the world around me.

After returning to the states, I moved to Orlando, Florida to attend Full Sail University. Majoring in Show Production and Touring, I graduated in June of 2015 as the Valedictorian, with several Course Director and Perfect Attendance Awards in-hand. Upon graduation, I worked my way through several jobs in Orlando before moving back to the Atlanta area to be with family.

Once back in Atlanta, a new passion for computer science began to emerge that caused me to start reconsidering my career. Coupled with the effects of COVID-19 that changed the landscape of the professional AV market, and the encouragement of my wife, I decided to focus on education full-time in November of 2021.

With my day-to-day life now focused on achieving my dream of becoming a Data Scientist, I find myself working through a multitude of professional certificates which can be found under the “My Certifications” page of this website. While this list is the most up-to-date with finished certificates, the list of which is in progress includes those listed below amongst several others.
